Yunnan is considered the birthplace of tea and is home to some of the most ancient tea trees known (one is said to be 3,200 yrs old). Our Yunnan Old tree is grown at an elevation of nearly 7,000ft in the Ming Feng Mtn. area of the well-known Lin Cang tea region in Yunnan. These tea trees average about 150 years of age. Yunnan teas are generally known for their robust, malty body with honey-like sweetness and sophistication. Many will have a slight smokiness and possibly tobacco, caramel, or chocolate notes.
Steep 1 TBS (4g) of The Moss in 8 oz hot water [205ºF] for 3 minutes. It is always best to cover your tea as it steeps to prevent aromas from escaping.
