    I had high hopes..

Don't get me wrong: this is a great tea. But as someone who lived on "the wet side" of Washington state for over 20 years and now no longer does, I was anticipating a flavor/ aroma profile that that would take me back. This blend does, but not quite. Kelp, or any seaweed really, would be difficult to include in this blend, but that's the undertone that is missing for me. When I read "Salish Sea" I think of salty air, wet stone, Pacific madrones, rhododendrons, moss and tide pools, evergreen trees, the fog that rolls in off of the ocean. This blend IS wonderful and I'm glad I tried it: it feels like a soup that hasn't quite turned the corner to becoming what it could be.
