Archetypal Tea Blend
datura • wild blackberry • honey • dusk

Inspired by the ancient lore of Elfland – a place that lies beyond the woodland's farthest edge, past deeply-purpled thickets, between the light of dusk and star-set. Notes of evening flowers, wild blackberries, honey, and songs lost to time.

The blackberry plant has long been regarded as a sacred boundary plant that helps keep good energy in, and malicious energy out. It is said that blackberry helps one overcome obstacles, and draws in good luck. The ancient Celts regarded its fruit as magical, and Lirazel surely is.

    Love the blackberry notes

I've tried so many varieties of Artemis Tea and this blend is one of my favorites. The tea itself is mellow and the blackberry notes are fragrant and sweet; I will definitely purchase this blend again!

    A Fruity Fave

Note: I don't add sugar to my tea, so assume I haven't unless otherwise specified.

The thing that drew me to this tea right off the bat is the smell, even before it's steeped. You smell fruity blackberries at first, like they might be fresh in bowl, and then it gets more complex, as though you've stepped into some kind of herbalist shop underneath. It's awesome. The tea itself seems like it should be wildly sweet, given the smell, but it isn't. There's enough of the astringency(I hope that's the right word) that it's not sickly sweet. It's still a very light tea, pleasant for mornings when I'm already mostly awake, just want a little extra focus power with a mid-dose of caffeine. It also works really well on the bad days when I've started with a black tea, and need another dose in the afternoon, but don't want as much as a black. The lighter flavor is pleasant and not enough to keep me awake past bedtime, as long as I have it before 3. Good one to just have around.
